AOC calls Elon Musk “unintelligent” during Instagram rant

Our take: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez burst on the political scene in 2018 when she unseated 10-term Congressman Joe Crowley in the Democratic primary, assuring her of a seat in Congress in the heavily Democratic district. Big things were expected of her as a young star in the party.

To date, the primary win remains her sole political achievement. She has displayed her lunacy with such gems as stating the world would end in 12 years if we didn’t take climate change seriously and that unemployment was low during the first Trump administration because “everyone was working two jobs.”. The second gem is the most noteworthy, as Ms. Ocasio-Cortez holds a BS in Economics from Boston University. Methinks they need to check on the curriculum at BU if that’s how their graduates think unemployment is measured.

Known for her general disdain for rich people (except billionaire Democrat donors, of course), she took to Instagram to hurl insults at Elon Musk. In a live interaction with her 8 million-plus followers, Ocasio-Cortez declared:

“This dude is probably one of the most unintelligent billionaires I have ever met or seen or witnessed,” “This dude is not smart, and the danger in the lack of intelligence and the lack of expertise that Elon has, I mean, this guy is one of the most morally vacant but also just least knowledgeable about these systems that we know of.”

Elon Musk is a lot of things. Socially awkward? - Check. Freewheeling as it relates to kids out of wedlock? For sure. Unintelligent? Negative. This is a guy that has started multiple companies that do tens of billions in revenue annually. He is renowned for his problem-solving abilities and work ethic.

AOC is the one who sounds unintelligent when she says crazy things like this. Her list of achievements to date post-college are making a good Long Island Iced Tea and winning a primary that catapulted her onto the national stage. She’s going to need to show she has some chops before we listen to anything she says.

Waffle House adds 50 cent per egg surcharge as bird flu sends egg prices skyrocketing

Our take: If you have never been to a Waffle House, you should go at least once. The chain is all over the Southern United states. Known for it’s cheap food and 24 hour service, the Waffle House is a place you can count on for grits, bacon, and orange juice. But for now, it will cost you a bit more if you want some scrambled eggs.

The chain recently instituted a 50 cent per egg surcharge on its menu to offset the skyrocketing price of eggs. The egg market is rising due to a bad case of avian flu, which is decimating flocks all over the country, and driving the supply of eggs down.

Social media is filled with altercations in Waffle House restaurants, bathrooms, and parking lots. We venture to guess that we will see a few more videos of outraged customers taking their frustrations out on others as they see this egg charge on the menu. That said, make sure you get to Waffle House at least once. It’s an experience you won’t forget.

Trump to sign executive order banning men from participating in women’s sports

Our take: It’s about time. We have covered several instances if this delusion of men masquerading as women in our newsletter. Our position has never wavered and it never will.

What you do in your personal life is 100% your call. We fully support people living their lives any way they want, without fear of verbal or physical attacks. Let people do what they want to do.

What you don’t have the right to do is tell people they have to use specific words, and you certainly cannot disenfranchise women by stealing their spots on sports teams.

We are huge supporters of people playing team sports. It is one of the best way to learn valuable life lessons such as teamwork, sacrifice, practice, and commitment. This is not gender specific. Everyone can benefit from these valuable lessons.

When we let men steal spots from women, it takes away these opportunities from someone. Men already have these opportunities - on teams with other men.

It is shocking to us that it took this long for someone in power to take a stand on this subject. Kudos to President Trump for his leadership on this issue.
