A Finnish national faces deportation after throwing coffee on a woman, the woman’s baby, and the woman’s dog
Our take: Good lord. You can read the story for yourself, but someone needs to check on the people from Finland. Chucking coffee on people and animals is a pretty severe reaction to someone walking their dog.

Woke mayor changes garbage pickup from weekly to twice a month
Our take: Medford, Massachusetts, mayor Breana Lungo-Koehn decided that picking up trash weekly was too bad for the environment. She somehow got trash pickup changed from weekly to every other week. She is celebrating the change as a big environmental win.
We will see what everyone thinks when the stench of rotting garbage in the humid summer months of Massachusetts wafts over Medford. She will definitely win the rodent vote in her next election, as they will now have an endless supply of food in the name of environmentalism. Bon appetite, Stuart Little!

“Food influencer” arrested for repeatedly running up tabs at restaurants then skipping out on the bill
Our take: A wannabe food influencer has frequented high-end restaurants around Brooklyn, ordering a bunch of food, making content to share on social media, and then claiming she cannot pay and skipping out on the bill.
Pei Chung, 34, is known locally as the “dine-and-dash diva” for her repeated actions. She had to put up $4,500 in cash bail because of her repeat offenses, as well as skipping out on a previous court date, also for skipping out on a restaurant tab. Chung is also facing eviction from her apartment, which happens to be owned by former NY Governor Eliot Spitzer.
Spitzer famously resigned his office after being caught up in a prostitution scandal where he was paying high end call girls for rendezvous while he held the state’s top office.
We can’t help Chung with the restaurant payments, but a clear trade seems to exist for her to avoid the eviction—just sayin’.

Tip of the day for thinking critically
Look at where the information has come from. Is the source trustworthy? What is their motivation for presenting this information? For example, are they trying to sell you something or get you to take a certain action (like vote for them)?
