Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar “wants to move forward”, dodges questions about Biden's comments

Our take: It’s not front-page news now that Democrats took a shellacking in the last presidential election. They lost the White House, lost control of the Senate, and failed to retake the House. The party currently feels rudderless, with various people (AOC, Jasmine Crockett, Bernie Sanders) trying to grab the spotlight with various fringe positions.

Former President Biden has recently resurfaced, mumbling his way through interviews. Forget about stuttering, as that is a condition many (including Biden) have suffered from since birth. He still seems incapable of stringing more than 3 coherent sentences together or finishing a thought without trailing off into the ether.

Klobuchar did not want to talk about the former President when Klobuchar was asked about his recent comments in multiple interviews this week. Instead, Klobuchar pivoted to talk about what the American people need from Congress. Things like lowering costs, building more housing, creating more affordable energy, and “working with entrepreneurs all over the country.”

This is rich coming from Klobuchar. Her run for president in 2020 was so short and uneventful, the majority of people don’t know she actually ran for the presidency. She has been a senator for 18 years. I guess the warm-up period is finally over for her, and she now plans to start to do the job she was actually elected to do.

Don’t hold your breath. Past performance is still the best indicator of future performance. Expect Klobuchar to talk a lot and not get much done, just as she has done for the past 2 decades.

Jasmine Crockett continues racist tirades, claiming many Dems want “the safest white boy” as the next presidential candidate

Our take: Jasmine Crockett is actually an intelligent person. It is hard to discern that when you listen to her bloviate about race as the character she decided to play to raise her political profile.

Crockett attended an all-girls Catholic high school in St. Louis and went on to attend Rhodes College, an expensive liberal arts college. After graduating with a law degree from the University of Houston, Crockett has found religion. Make everything about race, and yell as loud as you can in every microphone available.

Her latest attempt for notoriety came during an interview with a vice chair of the DNC, where she said a lot of people want to find “the safest white boy” available to run for president in 2028. She says because the Dems have twice run women and lost, the party won’t try it again.

What Ms. Crockett is missing is that while a small minority of people would not vote for a woman, the vast majority of Americans would vote for the right woman. That woman is not Hillary Clinton or Kamala Harris. Both candidates had serious and easily identifiable flaws that turned a lot of voters off immediately.

If the Dems dropped the identity politics and ran the right people, regardless of race or gender, they would have a shot. If they continue to follow this playbook of separating and judging people into buckets by their skin color and genitals, they will continue to be irrelevant to much of the country.

The woman complains she pays for all necessities, fiancé uses his money for fun. She still wants to marry him

Our take: All we have to say here is this woman should run the other way as fast as she can. Any person who thinks this situation is acceptable is not a person you want by your side for the rest of your life.
