Border czar Homan continues war of words with AOC related to the charges against fellow congresswoman
Our take: A few weeks ago, several Democrat lawmakers, including the mayor of Newark and Representative LaMonica McIver, decided to engage in a performative exercise by showing up at an ICE detention center and forcing their way inside to conduct “oversight.” They were met by ICE agents who prevented them from storming the facility.
Representative McIver can be seen on video of the incident pushing law enforcement agents and forcing physical confrontations with people. She has since been charged with interfering with law enforcement activities and assault. This is not hard to justify if you see the video.
Enter AOC. The progressive mouthpiece threatened Homan and other officials that “"You lay a finger on someone... or any of the representatives that were there, you lay a finger on them, we are going to have a problem."
Homan has not lost any sleep over the spat. He appeared on Fox News and said the following: “Well, remember, just a couple weeks ago AOC went on social media saying if we put a finger on any of her co-workers, uh, congresspeople, that were at our York facility, there would be consequences," Homan stated. "Well, guess what? We did it. I’m waiting on the consequences."
AOC is finding out that many people are immune to her charms and rhetoric. Homan is having none of it. Grab some popcorn because the next 3.5 years should be entertaining if nothing else.

A Harvard Business professor has tenure revoked over allegations of data manipulation
Our take: In the not-so-distant past, Harvard was viewed as a bastion of higher thought where the best and the brightest went to get educated. In recent years, it has taken a beating, most of it largely self-inflicted.
The Supreme Court ruled their discriminatory admissions processes were racist and violated people’s rights, their DEI hire chancellor had to resign due to dozens of plagiarism accusations and failing to protect Jewish students from antisemitic protestors, and the Trump administration has put the screws to Harvard’s administration for their continued support of DEI initiatives.
The hits just keep on coming. A tenured professor, who made over $1 million a year teaching business administration with a focus on honesty and ethical behavior, had her tenure stripped amid allegations of data manipulation to support hypotheses she was attempting to prove.
For those that don’t know, accusations of plagiarism or data manipulation are some of the most serious and career-damaging allegations someone in academia can face. They are the equivalent of accusing a golfer of cheating, accusing a Coke employee of drinking Pepsi, or accusing your mom of making a recipe off a box instead of making dinner from scratch. It’s serious shit.
Harvard has an endowment of over $50 billion, which has never been taxed. If we want colleges to walk the line, we suggest we remove their tax-exempt status and let them contribute to the tax base just like other billion-dollar businesses are required to do. The downhill slide continues at a place that was once beyond reproach.

Teachers Union Chief continues to deny they led calls for schools to remain closed
Our take: Randi Weingarten is the president of the American Federation of Teachers, the largest teachers’ union in the country. She has been in the position since 2008. Unfortunately, she seems to be suffering from amnesia and cannot accurately recall much of her behavior during the first 2 years of the Covid-19 pandemic. Fortunately, many people have not forgotten what she did and are willing to call her out publicly on her bullshit.
During the early days of Covid, Weingarten was vocal in supporting school closures unless and until draconian and unscientific safeguards were put in place. From our perspective, her approach could best be described as “fuck these kids—we won’t work until we get everything we want.” The AFT pushed the CDC to keep schools closed to force compliance with expensive and unscientific demands and threatened to strike unless their demands were met.
Fast forward to today, and Weingarten wants people to forget her actions. She continues to try and rewrite history when discussing Covid, stating the AFT was a leader in pushing for reopening schools and getting kids back in classrooms. Unfortunately for her, we have videos and articles documenting what she did. A C-SPAN caller pushed her on this on a call yesterday.
The attached article is worth the read so you can get a sense for the fantasy she is trying to spin. Don’t believe it.
