CNN says Americans tell Harris “It’s not us, it’s you”

Our take:  One of the few straight shooters at CNN is Harry Enten, who is their chief data analyst. On Monday he delivered the news that anyone not inside the democratic elite echo chamber already knew: Americans like Kamala Harris less and less the more they know about her.

Since October of 2024, her net favorability rating has dropped by 9 points. With independents, her net favorability is 37 points underwater. Harris continues to make innuendos that she will run for president in 2028 despite her historic loss in the 2024 election. If Democrats want to watch J.D. Vance be inaugurated, they should encourage Harris to run again. Harris needs to hit the talk show and paid speaker circuit. She had a shot at the White House and blew it in spectacular fashion. We’re just not that into you.

Antifa “expert” used by media outlets actually funds Antifa

Our take: File this under “you can’t make this up.” Mark Bray has been cited by multiple news sources (such as NBC and the New York Times) as an “Antifa expert.” He authored the book Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook, which is hailed as a handbook for would-be activists. He regularly downplays violent actions undertaken by Antifa members, such as firebombing government facilities and igniting many of the violent riots in the 2020 “Summer of Love,” despite advocating for violence in his book in the name of “anti-fascism.”

Oh yeah—Bray also funds Antifa activities. In his book (or is it really a manifesto?) he states “at the very least 50%” of the proceeds from the book are funneled to the International Anti-Fascist Defense Fund. Yet media outlets far and wide use him as a reference, like he is an impartial arbiter of truth.

This is why almost no one trusts the mainstream media anymore. This brazen disregard for journalistic integrity and the absence of any pushback is appalling. Keep this in mind as you consume news across various platforms. Always do some digging to understand who is speaking and where their allegiances lie and where their money comes from.

Grifter pleads guilty to conning donors to fund her personal expenses

Our take: Monica Cannon-Grant was heralded as a heroic activist, receiving multiple accolades and awards while raking in hundreds of thousands of dollars that were meant to support the non-profits she worked for and with.

In 2022, she was arrested and accused of 18 different counts of fraud-related crimes through her Violence in Boston activist groups. The allegations included getting $100,000 in pandemic-related unemployment benefits and using the money to pay off her car loan and pay for her car insurance, among the more than a dozen accusations.

Cannon-Grant vehemently denied any wrongdoing, right up until Monday when she pled guilty in federal court. Shocker. An “activist” who is actually a grifter. I wonder if Al Sharpton is worried something like this will sully his sterling reputation. He can always hit up Kamala Harris for another donation in 2028 when she is raising money to lose the presidential race again.

Tip of the day for building momentum

Try something new

Certain opportunities have now vanished. New opportunities are emerging. The longer we stare longingly at the vanished opportunities, the less we’re able to see the new ones that are coming into view. The internet is now filled with successful transformations to new businesses, or what have become known as “pivots”. For inspiration and ideas, it’s worth poking around to see how others are pivoting to rewarding, viable work.
