Looters ransacked the Auto Zone at “mostly peaceful protests” in LA
Our take: The mainstream press has told us since the summer of 2020 that riots and looting stemming from protests supporting left-wing ideologies have been “mostly peaceful.” The latest case in point is the looting of an AutoZone store in LA for the second time in a year.
A mob of people stormed the store after hours, ripped down the security gates, broke the windows, and stole merchandise. This must be a new way to protest political actions you disagree with, as the same store was looted a year ago.
The press’ approach of telling people, “Don’t believe your lying eyes,” and gaslighting the American public has been routinely called out and rejected by sane people on both sides of the aisle. I don’t know what they are attempting to do by lying about these things, but whatever it is, people are not buying it. You shouldn’t either.

Amazon boss says AI will replace white collar jobs
Our take: AI continues to expand its reach, impacting businesses across the world. At one of the largest companies in the world, the CEO says he expects AI to take over many white-collar jobs that currently exist today.
Andy Jassy covered the topic in a memo posted to Amazon’s website. Amazon currently employs about 1.5 million people and is spending $100 million on capital expenditures in its most current budget, driven largely by investment in AI and data centers. Jassy also said that the company will likely need to expand the workforce in other areas, and it would be hard to figure out where it nets out, but he expects to reduce the total corporate workforce over the next several years.
The quote that resonated with us the most was his final one, describing AI as “the most transformative technology since the Internet.” If you are an entrepreneur or looking to make a lot of money, you should learn more about AI.

Former CNN correspondent Jim Acosta takes a shot at President Trump’s deceased first wife
Our take: Jim Acosta became well known during the first Trump administration when many on the left viewed him as a leader for “standing up” for the press and “speaking truth to power.” He regularly pandered to the cameras and made himself the subject of the story instead of reporting the facts and being an objective journalist.
Fast forward to the current day, and Acosta has shown his true colors, taking classless shots at Donald Trump by insulting his dead ex-wife and the current First Lady of the United States. On “The Contrarian” podcast, Acosta said Trump was a “hypocrite” on immigration because he married women from other countries. He then said, “Doesn’t he have one buried by the first hole or second tee or something like that?” referring to Ivana Trump, his first wife and mother of several of his children. He also said Trump’s wives are examples of “immigrants doing the jobs that Americans don’t want to do.”
Jim Acosta was fired because he had no credibility with his audience. He forgot he was supposed to report the news, not become the subject of it. It looks like he doesn’t know he’s not a comedian either. What he is is a self-important, sanctimonious windbag who doesn’t know when to shut his mouth. The good news is no one is watching anything he is on anyway, so it’s hard for him to cause too much trouble.

Tip of the Day
Question your own biases, too. Everyone has biases, and there’s no point pretending otherwise. The trick is to think objectively about your likes and dislikes, preferences, and beliefs, and consider how these might affect your thinking.
