Southwest “customers of size” are unhappy with the enforcement of the new policy
Our take: Southwest instituted a new policy this year whereby customers who cannot fit in one seat without infringing on their seatmates’ space are required to buy a second ticket. The policy is a bit tough to administer because it leads to a judgment call by Southwest employees at gates and on planes. Several customers have taken to the internet to voice their complaints after being impacted by the new policy.
Here's the deal. We understand this is a delicate situation and needs to be handled with discretion. That said, maintaining a healthy weight so you are not impacted by this policy is also completely within the customer’s control. More meat and vegetables, less ice cream. More walking, less Netflix. Eventually, you will get to a healthy weight, and you won’t have to worry about this policy anymore.
I’m 6 feet 3, and even in good shape (which I am not currently in), I take up a lot of space. I’ve never had an issue fitting on an airplane seat with both armrests down and not impacting my seatmates. I’m eminently qualified to comment on this topic. Take control of your health – we all want you to live a long, healthy life and travel without any of these hassles.

“No Kings” protests declared a success after it’s proven there are still no kings in the US
Our take: “No Kings” protests were held across the country this weekend. People gathered to show they wanted freedom from an oppressive government to make their own choices. Except for COVID, when we were arresting people for surfing and going to the gym. And when you speak at a school board meeting and get arrested for criticizing the sitting members.
Or when you criticize the government or its policies and get banned from social media after the DOJ emails and threatens the social media companies. But other than that, no kings!!!

USDA chief claims “billions of dollars of fraud” have been discovered by investigators
Our take: Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins told Breitbart News that her department has uncovered billions of dollars in fraud. She credits Elon Musk and the DOGE team for helping identify the fraud. Rollins cited several programs with dubious goals, like a grant to study how racism affected the pest industry and a grant to study the menstruation cycles of transgender mice. I have not been able to research to verify if any of these claims are accurate, but I can tell you for sure that an agency as big as the USDA has fraud going on in its programs.
At least people seem to be paying attention now. We will see if anyone takes action to arrest and prosecute the offenders. If not, who cares what they found and talk about? Until we start imposing consequences on people, it’s all whistling dixie.

Tip of the day – How to develop a growth mindset from Psychology Today
Take a step deeper into authenticity.
Pretending to be someone you are not disrespects who you really are. It makes you a fake. It diminishes what you have to offer. Becoming truly authentic is a process that takes time and a lot of inner work. Once you do, you'll likely be more driven to pursue your true goals, which puts you in a growth mindset.
