US suspends assistance to Somalia’s government, alleging it seized food aid
Our take: The State Department said it has suspended all aid to Somalia’s government, accusing them of destroying an American-funded warehouse and seizing tons of food intended for impoverished children.
The longer people continue to deny that the country of Somalia runs off grift and theft, the longer it will take t confront the issue that we have invited into the country without properly vetting the hundreds and thousands of people who came here who only know that culture.
We need to demand that people that want to immigrate to the US are willing and able to support themselves, will assimilate to our culture including learning English and respecting the social norms and customs of our country, and will leave behind the things they claim to want to escape – like theft, violence, and Sharia law. If they balk at any one of those things, they don’t get in. It seems pretty basic to us.

Lewiston council member resigns after report alleges his Nonprofit received funds meant for families of shooting victims
Our take: Councilman Iman Osman resigned after a report from NewsNation alleged his nonprofit was one of several that received funds raised for mass shooting victims. Osman’s organization is alleged to have received $65,000 from the funds that were supposed to go exclusively to the surviving family of the shooting victims. Mr. Osman was also under investigation for felony gun charges and his residency status. Take a wild guess where Mr. Osman is from. It ain’t Luxembourg.

Shocker: As Millennials and Gen Z age, they find out that Boomers and Gen X knew more than they did because of life experience
Our take: It is common for young people to think they know more than those who came before them. Who among us has not dismissed the advice of an older person by proclaiming we knew better and they were just worry warts or jealous they did not have the guts we had to take our shots? While that may be true in some instances, many tried and true approaches are now making more sense to younger generations since life has kicked them in the teeth for the past few decades.
Things like saving money, owning your home, setting boundaries between work and personal life, and enjoying things like car rides, meals at home with family and friends, and playing cards and board games build memories and relationships that the gig economy and transactional relationships that younger generations championed simply don’t deliver. Human nature doesn’t change, no matter how you spin the narrative or change the terminology.

Tip of the day: How to win friends and influence people
Admit Your Mistakes
Admitting your mistakes shows humility and helps build trust with your team. When something goes wrong, own up to it, apologize, and focus on finding a solution. This not only shows integrity but also sets a positive example for others.
