Republican congresswoman says Ilhan Omar aggressively defended President Trump and the USA on a recent international trip
Our take: In a twist we would never have bet on, Republican representative Anna Paulina Luna shared a story on a recent podcast about Minnesota Democratic representative Ilhan Omar. Luna said a Belgian politician was taking shots at the congressmembers, claiming President Trump did not respect the congress members and thought they were a joke.
Luna said Omar jumped in to defend the country and the president, telling the Belgian politician that he “would respect our president while we are here.”
You could have knocked me over with a feather when I read this story. Good for Omar for stepping up and showing leadership in the face of criticism. There is some hope of bridging the divide between parties after all.

Woman gets the boot as maid of honor after she cannot afford over $2k for the bachelorette trip
Our take: A woman says she was dropped as the maid of honor after she told the bride-to-be that she could not afford the $2,300 for the bachelorette trip to Tulum, Mexico. The trip included matching outfits, a luxury villa, and a private chef. Despite being best friends since high school, the bride told the former maid of honor that she needed “bridesmaids who could fully commit.”
Holy shit—is the bride named Regina George (lead character in Mean Girls)? This maid of honor got lucky to be dismissed. As this wedding draws closer, there is a good chance this psycho bride will go full tilt and start breathing fire and spitting lava. It would be best to be as far away from her as possible before the transformation is complete.

Our take: Uh – No, Becky, you’re not wrong. Your husband is a douchebag and is sleeping with his college ex. And for some reason, he allowed her to move into the guest room while you were on a work trip. Find a divorce attorney immediately.
