Jasmine Crockett does a fluff piece, screws that up as usual

Our take: Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett of Texas has made a name for herself by changing the way she speaks, being willing to say stupid and outlandish things, and wearing super bad fake eyelashes. In a piece by The Atlantic that was meant to help people to get to know her and help strengthen her position as a leader of the Democrat party, she managed to accomplish quite the opposite.

A few details exposed how childish and inexperienced the Texan is. For one, she has a picture of herself as her screen background on her phone. Seriously. She also said she should have been appointed to the high-profile and powerful position of ranking member of the House Oversight Committee because “she has the largest social media following.” I am not making one word of that up. I guess Kim Kardashian should be the next secretary of state and Cardi B should run the defense department based on Crockett’s logic.

Crockett also thought she could shut down the article because she did not like what the reporter was doing. When Crockett found out the reporter was contacting other members of Congress to find out why they did not support her quest for the ranking member race, Crockett told the reporter, “I am shutting down the profile and revoking all permissions.” Thanks, Jasmine. That’s not how any of this works. Maybe they didn’t teach the First Amendment at the University of Houston, where Crockett earned a law degree.

Crockett is emblematic of everything wrong with the Democrat party. She thinks because she yells loudly, people must listen to her and do what she says. The sense of entitlement is wild. It is difficult to see how Democrats win any national elections if they continue to do the same moronic things repeatedly and expect different results.

Wendy’s manager shoots a man in a dispute over an employee wanting to leave early

Our take:  A manager of a Wendy’s in Memphis, Tennessee, shot and killed a man who showed up to drive home a woman who wanted to leave her shift early. The manager had previously argued with the employee after her request.

He then got into an altercation with the man in the parking lot and pulled a gun and demanded both the employee and the man stay put until police showed up.

Yikes. All I can say is I will just drive away with my order instead of complaining they put onions on my Baconator the next time. I don’t want to die in the drive-through.

Federal judges defy Supreme Court rulings because they don’t like Trump

Our take: For decades, a single judge at the federal level has been able to issue rulings that block presidential administrations from carrying out the laws of the country. All one had to do was find a federal judge sympathetic with their cause and file a case, and they could block the administration from enforcing their policies. This happened on both the Democrat and Republican sides, and we have always disagreed with it.

Earlier this year, the Supreme Court ruled this practice was not acceptable save for a few specific circumstances. But activist judges don’t care about that ruling and think they know better. This article we provided the link to provides numerous examples of judges who have simply refused to comply with orders directly from the Supreme Court. All of these judges were appointed by Democratic presidents.

The Democrats love to claim they are the party of “law and order.” Except for mostly peaceful protests. And lighting Teslas on fire. And harboring illegal aliens in their cities. And rioting at ICE facilities. And following Supreme Court rulings. Wait—never mind. I guess they aren’t as good at following the laws of the country as they want us to believe.

Tip of the day – improving communication

Body language matters. This is important for face-to-face meetings and video conferencing. Make sure that you appear accessible, so have open body language. This means that you should not cross your arms. And keep eye contact so that the other person knows that you are paying attention.
