President Biden pardons son Hunter despite numerous promises it was “off the table”.

CURRENT EVENTS.

Our take: President Joe Biden on Monday announced he would pardon his son Hunter, who was convicted earlier this year on falsifying an application for a firearm and pled guilty just before his tax evasion trial was set to start in September of this year, despite adamantly stating numerous times he would accept the outcome of the judicial process.

Making matters worse, the pardon covers any crimes committed against the United States from January 1, 2014, to December 1, 2024—a ten-year period that conveniently covers the period of time during which Hunter Biden was named to the board of Burisma, a Ukrainian oil and gas company that was looking to cozy up the US to further their interests, despite Hunter Biden having zero experience in the oil and gas industry.

Anyone who knows Joe Biden and his history cannot be surprised by this move. Biden had to drop out of the 1988 Democratic presidential race when it was revealed he plagiarized a campaign speech he delivered multiple times. Even when he was caught, Biden claimed to only have delivered the speech “one time” despite being on camera multiple times. Other Biden whoppers include claiming his wife was killed by a drunk driver (the driver was not intoxicated), that he graduated top half of his law class (he graduated 76th in a class of 85), that he was arrested protesting apartheid with Nelson Mandela (he was never arrested at all, under any circumstance), that his son Beau died in Iraq (he died of a brain tumor in the US long after his deployment), and that he was qualified to be President—this one should be obvious to all of you.

One point and one silver lining. Our point here is that the mainstream media who breathlessly protested about Trump using the office to enrich himself and his family, that Biden was a shining beacon of integrity, and that democracy was at stake in this election because Trump would refuse to follow the rule of law need to shut the fuck up. We are tired of your moralizing and hypocrisy. Your guy is a scumbag and has always been scumbag. You live in a glass house. Put down the stones. The silver lining here is that because Hunter Biden can no longer plead the 5th Amendment because of fear of self-incrimination, he can be hauled in front of Congress, and he would have to answer any questions related to any activities during this period because Daddy gave him a get out of jail free card. Here is hoping that you should be careful what you wish for because you might get it. It’s not surprising to us that Joe cannot see this far down the road. Maybe he thinks he will be dead before it all comes to light.

Public service announcement: Never give out information to anyone who calls you, no matter if you recognize the number.

Our take: As this young lady found out the hard way, a bank or financial institution will NEVER call or text you and ask you for personal information, to access your account immediately, or to withdraw cash and send it somewhere else.

Never. It will never happen. If you get one of these calls or texts, the best thing you can do is hang up and call the number on the back of your ATM credit, credit card, or paper statement, and verify nothing is wrong. The key here is that you are initiating the call to the bank, not the bank initiating the call to you.

Scammers like to make the situation seem urgent. If you have a relative that has been injured or arrested, the police or emergency services will not ask you for money or personal information. They will have recently had people try to hack our credit card accounts and have had to go through this process multiple times. We have never received a call from the bank asking us about fraudulent activity. We have always received an email or text asking us to call the fraud department. We take out our card, call the number on the back of the card, and deal with the situation. Never give out personal information on a call you did not initiate. Ever. If you are not sure what to do, call a friend or relative who has experience in these situations and follow their advice.

Ask you to come where your relative is to help deal with the situation. The police do not call and tell you someone will arrest you if you don’t follow the instructions on the phone call. And if they do come arrest you, get a lawyer and deal with it. Don’t let your fear get the best of you. Always follow these tips, and you will be fine.

Harris campaign is still fundraising to pay off debts

Our take:  Weeks after spectacularly underperforming in the election loss to Trump, Kamala Harris and her team are still begging for money to pay off a reported $20 million deficit. Despite raising over $1.4 billion in campaign donations in less than 6 months, Harris and her team not only lost the election but also blew past their spending limits. Too bad she didn’t get a chance to run the country for 4 years, huh? She couldn’t even run a campaign, right? Only one question comes to mind when we hear this: How do they walk with balls that big?would “work to reform

TIP OF THE DAY

Before you jump in and start swinging the axe, take the time to sharpen it first. The time it takes to chop down a tree with a sharp axe is much shorter (and much less work) than flailing away with a dull one. Said differently, take the time to make a plan before you jump into a project. You will accomplish much more that way, even though things will not go the way you planned them.
