A clueless woman demonstrates how stupid consumers can be when she complains about prices changing after ads end

Our take:  A clueless woman thought she had “caught” Publix in a pricing scandal. Unfortunately for her, she simply discovered that prices go back up after sales end. The woman picked up 2 pies in December. As a grocery store owner and operator, I know you have to have a sell-by date on many products, including baked goods. She decided to peel back the stickers on the pies she bought, both of which showed a lower price, but the same sell-by date on the tag underneath the current price tag. Shen then proclaimed that Publix was somehow trying to screw her, proclaiming, “They don’t even try to hide it.”

Uh – yeah. They are not trying to hide their prices. They simply had pies on sale for Thanksgiving. Now that Thanksgiving is over, the pies are back at their regular price. The fact that both tags had the same sell-by date on them confirms that Publix did exactly what they were supposed to do. It is not Publix’s issue if you’re too dumb to understand how the world works.

Our take: With the breathless defense of all things Somalia taking place, you should read this article. For several days, we have been including articles and statements that show that Somalian culture runs counter to the US culture in many instances, and that if we don’t demand that immigrants assimilate to our culture by respecting women, following laws, and speaking our language, we will see a quick decline in our society to match the third-world standards they bring with them.

Think we are wrong or being racist by making those statements? Check out the facts included in this article. Are you cool with female genital mutilation? Somalia is. 98% of Somali women have undergone the “procedure.” How do you feel about limiting the age at which people, especially women, can get married? If you’re Somalian, if it bleeds, it breeds. They follow Sharia law from Islam, which says the biological development of women will tell you when they are old enough to have sex, get married, and have their clitorises cut off. Do you think being literate matters? Not in Somalia. Estimates are that half of all adults are illiterate—almost 75% of adult women are illiterate. Still think they are “just like us” and “contribute to our society? ”

Facts matter. Truth matters. We cannot be afraid to call them out because some people want to hide behind their white guilt and defend people who look different than them even if they do and believe terrible things. This is a cultural issue, not a racial one. If we don’t demand that immigrants to our country pledge allegiance to our country and our culture, it won’t be long before the culture that built the greatest country to ever exist no longer exists.
