Snopes provides a fact check on Mandani's aide when we already have video and written proof of her comments

Our take: Snopes is a website that claims it is a non-partisan fact-checker. I have never looked into the ownership to see if they are, in fact, non-partisan or if they are backed by money from one side or the other. Either way, this is not relevant to this situation. Snopes took it upon themselves to “fact-check” the statements of socialist comrade Cea Weaver made about property ownership being a “tool of white supremacy,” even though the video and Twitter posts of her saying exactly these words have been widely circulated across the internet.

Tomorrow, we expect them to fact-check that the alphabet has 26 letters. Thanks, Snopes. I think you need to give us the keys or call an Uber. You’re in no shape to drive home.

Minnesota and Illinois sue to prevent the federal government from enforcing federal immigration law in their states

Our take:  Minnesota and Illinois have filed suit in federal court to restrict the federal government from enforcing immigration law, attempting to brand the enforcement as “assault.” OK. Good luck with that. This is clearly virtue signaling by politicians pandering for votes from their mealy-mouthed sycophants.

What struck us about this situation is that both states are Democratic strongholds. Democrats are the party that thinks government is the solution for every problem. Now that the government is enforcing laws they disagree with, they want less government. Like John McClane said in Die Hard – Welcome to the party, pal!

YouGov polls Americans to decide if the ICE agent who shot a protester should face charges

Our take:  For some reason, YouGov decided to poll Americans to see if they thought ICE agent Jonathan Ross should face charges for shooting and killing Renee Good after she parked sideways in the road, disobeying commands to leave her vehicle, and accelerating her car at Ross.

Newsflash – It doesn’t matter what Americans think. That’s not how our justice system works. We outlawed vigilante justice long ago in our country. But thanks for your help, YouGov, let the actual lawyers take it from here.
