A man without a boarding pass or a passport boards a flight at Heathrow Airport
Our take: In case you were getting too comfortable with safety and security, we wanted to let you know that a man made it onto a plane at Heathrow with no ticket, electronic boarding pass, or passport. Keep calm and carry on, I guess? Get your shit together, Britain!

Daughter of Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy calls TSA “unconstitutional” after she was patted down at the airport
Our take: If you hold one of the most powerful positions in the country, like Sean Duffy, the Transportation Secretary, it’s probably not a good look when your daughter is calling one of your colleagues' most public agencies “unconstitutional.”
With that said, we agree with Duffy’s daughter. This performative nonsense at airports is pointless, expensive, and performative. It made everyone feel better after the 9/11 attacks, but it’s time to call it good. Just x-ray or scan everyone and call it good. The heroes on United 93 taught everyone that no one is flying planes into targets in the US ever again.

CEO reveals his biggest interview red flag and the question he uses to uncover it
Our take: A CEO who has hired hundreds of people says his biggest red flag is when someone does not come to an interview prepared. Winging it is not acceptable. To test someone’s preparation, the first question he asks them is “What do you know about our company?” It’s a basic question that anyone who prepared for an interview would be able to answer. It’s a good lesson for anyone who is looking for a job.
If you really want a job, do the work to prepare for the interview and represent yourself in the best way possible. It’s not big corporations or the system that is holding you back. It’s your lack of willingness to do the work and take ownership of your situation. It’s not a coincidence that this guy is a CEO with that thought process. Learn something from his message.

Tip of the day: How to win friends and influence people
Use Persuasion, Not Force
Using persuasion and negotiation is far more effective than trying to coerce someone into agreement.
Whether you're presenting an idea or trying to resolve a disagreement, focus on appealing to the other person’s self-interest and supporting your points with logic and facts. It’s about finding a win-win solution rather than insisting on your way.
Example:
Instead of saying, “We need to do this my way,” you could say, “Here’s how this approach could benefit our project and save time.”
QUOTE OF THE DAY
“The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.” - The Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution
