Two women convicted of stalking ICE agents
Our take: I am not a fan of law enforcement officers wearing masks while on the job. That said, if you want to understand why some choose to do so now, this story is a good piece of evidence.
Two women in Los Angeles followed an agent from the federal building to his home while live-streaming the incident on social media. The women encouraged others to share the stream with others and shouted racial slurs at the agent’s family. You tell me if that would make you worried about people knowing your identity if you worked in law enforcement.

A hack reporter runs a completely misleading headline to try to scare people
Our take: The headline says “US teens ordered to sign up for military within days of turning 18 as Iran attack sparks WW3 fears.” The only problem with the headline is it is complete hogwash. The article simply references the selective service requirements that the US has had in place since May 18th , 1917, or 109 years ago.
It’s unbelievable that any organization that wants to be considered a legitimate news organization would have allowed this to run. Don’t fall for this garbage. The situation in Iran is serious without lying about this kind of stuff. These guys should be ashamed of themselves.

More suspected fraud of government programs, as a hospice in LA comes under scrutiny
Our take: Roughly 12% of the total US population lives in California. Roughly 40% of all US hospice providers are in Los Angeles. Seems legit. Federal investigators are now digging in and finding familiar things found in other fraudulent scams: multiple businesses in the same field listed at one address, no phone numbers, websites, or personnel present at the addresses listed for the business, and millions of federal dollars paid to these businesses.
We will say it again – do a hard, thorough audit of Medicare, Medicaid, and Military payments, and we could literally cut over a trillion dollars of government spending immediately. These programs are ripe for the picking, and scammers are harvesting the fruit daily.

Tip of the day – How to approach difficult conversations
Create a safe space.
Let people know, both implicitly and explicitly, that you care about their best interests and goals. Plus, that you care about them as individuals.
