Powerball surges to $1.6 billion after no one won the Saturday drawing

Our take: Buy your tickets, people! Yeah, yeah, I know it’s 1 in 292 trillion or whatever. Those odds are better than zero, which is what they are if you don’t buy a ticket. Skip the coffee or the doughnut and buy a Powerball ticket. It may change your life.

The homeless man who broke the Brown shooter case is being “taken care of” by the Feds

Our take: A homeless man who was once a student at Brown University proved to be the source that cracked the case to track down the shooter who killed 2 people at Brown and an MIT professor in his home before committing suicide as authorities closed in. The homeless man encountered the shooter before the crime and not only confronted him but also chased him off before he later returned and carried out the heinous act. That man is now being “taken care of” by federal agencies, including being put up in a hotel and provided food and clothing.

We would hope so. He proved to not only be brave in confronting the shooter but also to have a good eye for detail, which allowed him. To provide critical information, the authorities needed to track this guy down before he hurt other people. We hope this man is well rewarded for his exceptional response to a surreal situation.

Douchebag continues to buy anvils and then returns them to “stick it” to Amazon

Our take: Just take a look at the picture of this clown in the link we provided, and you already know what he is like. He is about as much fun as dysentery, the kernel of popcorn stuck in your gums that you can’t get out for a week, or genital warts.

He has been ordering and then returning anvils from Amazon. Yeah – for no other reason than to be a douchebag. Mission accomplished. We can guarantee you this guy spent time stuffed in a locker in high school and still hasn’t gotten over it.

Tip of the day: How to win friends and influence people

Build Relationships

Strong relationships are key to career success, especially in environments where cross-cultural communication is crucial. Find common interests with colleagues, whether it’s work-related or personal.

A great way to start is by expressing gratitude for their help or contributions. Building strong connections helps establish a supportive network, which is invaluable in any profession.
