Texas Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett realizes, too late open borders are bad
Our take: Jasmine Crockett is much more like a stand-up comedienne or an actress than a Congresswoman. We are not aware of a single piece of legislation that she has offered that has become law.
Instead, she has introduced such monumental legislation as bills to rename a post office, to establish an office of “environmental justice,” and to prohibit discrimination based on hair texture or style. None of those are a joke—you can look them up.
She continued her unintentional comedy show by posting a video to Instagram stating that she wonders what would happen if other countries started sending their illegal immigrants to America like the Trump administration is doing. Seriously—check it out for yourself.
Even more baffling is that Ms. Crockett represents Houston, which has a huge population of illegal immigrants, or as she likes to call them, “people other countries have sent.” The irony and stupidity of her comments escape her, despite her law degree.
If you don’t believe us that she is only interested in publicity and increasing her profile, go back and listen to her speaking when she was running for Congress. Her blaccent is conspicuously missing, and her comments are calm, rational, and well thought out. Ms. Crockett has determined her fastest path to national prominence is by pandering to the Black community and opposing anything the Trump administration supports.
It's hard to take anyone seriously who follows this approach. Plus, we can’t get past her fake eyelashes. She has to know how silly they look, doesn’t she?

Coaching icon Bill Belichick’s girlfriend has purchased over $8 million in real estate since the couple met
Our take: Until recently, legendary football coach Bill Belichick was famous for several things. The NFL dynasty he built in New England along with Tom Brady, his famously curmudgeonly demeanor, and his disdain for sharing anything at all with the public.
After he parted ways with the Patriots, he has been largely out of the public eye until he signed a deal to be the head coach at the University of North Carolina. When he took that job, he also brought along his girlfriend as the media and PR point person. His girlfriend, Jordan Hudson, is almost 50 years younger than Belichick. Her influence on the famously reserved Belichick has many people concerned, including photoshoots with her posing as a mermaid caught by Belichick dressed as a fisherman, Belichick doing a PR tour to promote the book he just wrote, and him happily attending black-tie events with Hudson on his arm dressed like an extra from the movie “Showgirls.”
Oh yeah—she has also bought over $8 million worth of real estate since meeting Belichick, and she is listed as the Chief Operating Officer for Belichick Productions. She is eminently qualified for the role based on her previous experience as 1st runner-up in the Miss Maine beauty contest, graduating from the New England Hair Academy, and her role as a model and brand ambassador for Rebel Athletics.
Belichick recently did an interview with CBS News. Hudson, who exactly no one is interested in hearing from, repeatedly interrupted the interview, acting unprofessionally and raising eyebrows as to why the famously control-freakish Belichick sits silently while Hudson terrorizes everyone around him.
Many who have known Belichick for decades have publicly expressed both concern and disdain for the couple and Hudson’s antics. Many think Belichick, who is 74, may be experiencing some type of cognitive decline that is allowing this to happen. We think her lady parts may be magic, or perhaps she was born without a gag reflex.
Full disclosure, this is not a hate piece about Belichick or Hudson. We are huge Patriots (and Belichick) fans and have been since we moved to New England in 2002. That also means we know how Belichick has behaved for decades. Something is not right here.

The mother of 2 boys is tired of progressives treating all boys like they are toxic
Our take: The women’s equality movement was very necessary. Until around the 1970s, there was undoubtedly a huge deficit between what opportunities men and women could pursue. Through the actions of many courageous women (and some men who supported their efforts), progress has been steady.
In today’s world, there are literally no opportunities available to men that are not also available to women. In fact, the pendulum may have swung too far in the opposite direction, putting men at a disadvantage in society simply because they are men.
Toxic masculinity is fine to discuss freely, openly criticizing men for the simple fact they are men. It’s one of the only classes that everyone is free to insult and discriminate against. The author of this piece, who is the mother of 2 boys, does a great job of laying out some of her experiences and some of the problems and inequities she sees in society. It’s worth the 3 minutes it takes to read.

Tip of the Day
Deep breathing is a great way to refocus your mind. Practicing deep breathing can help you gain a sense of control and balance while focusing your attention on things that are within your control. Take time to practice while making decisions, or to recenter yourself after a long day at work.
