Article asks if we are shocked ICE is detaining white European immigrants

Our take: 2 things. First, you forgot the word “illegal” in your bullshit headline. ICE detains and deports illegal immigrants, not immigrants. Second, no – we are not surprised at all. One group of people have made this about race, the vast majority of Americans understand that people who came into the country by breaking the law need to go back. No matter how much melanin is in their skin. Seems pretty racist to me to assume all immigrants have brown skin or that we would show preferential treatment to them if they do. Cool story, bro – try again.

The article asks why young white women are so angry

Our take: Some guesses: Starbucks is out of pumpkin spice? Their Ugg boots are falling apart, and they have to buy new ones. Lululemon is out of their size of yoga pants? We give up. If you figure it out, please let us know. We are tired of them screaming at everyone.

Seattle tells kids to kick rocks on Super Bowl parade attendance

Our take: Seattle has elected socialists not only their city council, but also to the mayor’s office.  I guess the greater good doesn’t include kids celebrating the win of their football team, despite their famous “12th man” advantage of a raucous home crowd. The city announced the parade route and also said schools would be open regular hours. I guess they need all 180 school days to complete the indoctrination. Let the kids have a day to celebrate the win comrades!!!

Tip of the day – How to think critically

Tip of the day – How to think critically.

Keep An Intellectual Journal. Each week, write out a certain number of journal entries. Use the following format (keeping each numbered stage separate):

1. Situation. Describe a situation that is, or was, emotionally significant to you (that is, that you deeply care about). Focus on one situation at a time.

2. Your Response. Describe what you did in response to that situation. Be specific and exact.

3. Analysis. Then analyze, in the light of what you have written, what precisely was going on in the situation. Dig beneath the surface.

4. Assessment. Assess the implications of your analysis. What did you learn about yourself? What would you do differently if you could re-live the situation?
