Boise State women’s volleyball team forfeits playoff match rather than play against men.

Our take: Insanity continues to rule the day in the Mountain West women’s volleyball tournament. Boise State forfeited 2 matches against San Jose State during the regular season rather than play against a team letting a man play for them. They overcame these 2 forfeits and still qualified for the post season tournament.

In the first round of the tournament, Boise State defeated Utah State to advance to the next round, where they were matched up against San Jose State yet again. Rather than abandon their principles, the Boise State team once again refused to play against a team with a man playing, and forfeited the match, ending their season. This comes after a federal judge ruled last week that the San Jose State team could keep the man on their team, denying an emeregency stay requested by several teams and team members from opposing Mountain West Conference women’s volleyball teams and team members.

It is scientific fact that post puberty, men possess innate and unalterable physical advantages over post pubescent women. Those advantages include longer, stronger, and more dense bones, larger and stronger muscles, tendons, and ligaments, and the cellular ability to metabolize energy faster and more efficiently. None of these advantages can be negated by any type of hormone therapy, including testosterone blockers. Not one of them.

It is inherently unfair to women to allow men masquerading as women to participate in competitive sports at the high school, college, or professional level. In the name of social justice, the NCAA and the Mountain West conference have disenfranchised not only the women on the Boise State team, but all women in the conference who refused to play against this man. It is so obviously unfair, and no amount of gaslighting or rationalization by conference or NCAA officials can change this obvious truth.

There is a court case working its way through the courts that we expect to be taken up by the Supreme Court in the future. Hopefully the Supreme Court will interpret the law as written rather than try to legislate from the bench as the Federal Circuit Court did and bring an end to this garbage.

Trump border czar undeterred in the face of death threats. “If you want some, come and get some.”

Our take: Tom Homan, President-elect Trump’s pick to run the souther border, is undeterred to complete his assignment despite death threats from some of those that oppose him and his mission. Trump ran on a promise to secure the Souther Border and deport the millions of illegal immigrants currently in the country. Some estimate put the number of illegal immigrants currently in the country north of 20 million.

Homan was formerly the Director of ICE (immigration & Customs Enforcement) has previously stood up to criticism from Congress members and activists who oppose the deportation program. He shows no sign of softening his stance, and we expect him to hit the ground running when he takes over in January.

We want everyone to be treated respectfully. There is zero reason to insult or belittle people when conducting these deportations. That said, coming into our country, or any other country around the globe, is a crime. If we look the other way, why do we have the laws in place to begin with? Which laws do we enforce and which laws do we ignore? Is it OK to steal? If so, how much can you steal before we enforce it? Is assault OK? Maybe just a slap or a light punch? It’s OK if you don’t draw blood?

When you ask the questions out loud, it becomes clear how ludicrous it is to think we can just ignore laws because we feel bad for people. We think there should be some way for people who are here to participate in society and earn some type of right to live in the country without jumping the line in front of those who have followed the law and applied for citizenship legally. That said, if we continue to look the other way, the problem will grow even larger than it has already. We are at the point where action is required, and we are glad someone with Homan’s mentality and compassion is responsible for overseeing the project.

Joy Reid stays on brand with Thanksgiving Day rant targeted at Trump voters

Our take: In our opinion, Joy Reid is the worst kind of person. She is extremely intelligent, and uses that intelligence to divide people and create buzz for her own personal financial gain. She does not care about anyone but herself. The people responsible for keeping her on the air at MSNBC should be shown the door with the same haste they should kick Ms. Reid to the curb. She is despicable. e would “work to reform

Work on changing one thing at a time, and take small consistent steps to change it. If you dilute your energy across multiple goals, you will dilute your chances of success as well.
