Wealthy New Yorkers already fleeing the city after socialist elected mayor

Our take:  New Yorkers elected a socialist who has promised rent control, free buses, and government-run grocery stores to residents—all compliments of raising taxes on the wealthy. For reference, the top 10% of earners in New York City already pay almost two-thirds of the total revenue. In a shock to no one other than those who voted Mamdani into office, wealthy New Yorkers are already fleeing the city for greener (cheaper) pastures.

Capital goes where it is treated best. Socialists think they know better than the market how capital should be allocated, which is funny because socialists are notoriously poor and don’t run businesses. This is exactly why you should not listen to people who don’t have what you want. They don’t know how to build it or obtain it. Their theories and opinions are worth what you paid for them—nothing.

If people stick around New York, they should be prepared for decreased services, increased crime, and huge budget deficits, because they are coming as sure as the sun rises in the east.

Jay Jones elected as Virginia AG despite texts that wished death upon his political rival and his children

Our take: Virginia elected Jay Jones to Attorney General, unseating incumbent Jason Miyares, despite texts from Jones wishing death upon his political rival and his children. Jones said people will only change their political positions when “they feel personal pain.” It was also revealed that Jones received a ticket for driving over 100 miles per hour and received a sweetheart deal from prosecutors compared to every other person arrested for similar crimes.

Congratulations Virginians! You have shown you lack basic morals, humanity, and empathy by electing this scumbag as your top law enforcement officer. It may take a while, but people always get what they deserve. The same will happen to Virginians.

Sydney Sweeney criticized for wearing sheer dress to movie promotion

Our take: Sydney Sweeney is widely regarded as one of the top female movie stars in the world. At the premier screening of her latest movie, she wore a sheer dress that left little to the imagination. Several people criticized her for wearing the dress.

You people leave Sydney Sweeney alone! If she wants to wear see-through clothes, she has every right! We support her 100%.
