France convicts 10 people of “cyberbullying” of First Lady Brigitte Macron

Our take: Let’s get a few things out of the way. First—we do not think Brigitte Macron was born a man. It’s easy enough to disprove through a DNA test, but we don’t think it’s remotely true. Second—the people who have become obsessed with this narrative surely need some psychological help. They simply must have something better to do with their time than this. Finally, we fully support slander and libel laws, which are the appropriate avenues to pursue when someone says or writes something about you that is demonstrably false.

With all that said, this story should scare the shit out of anyone who supports free speech. Protecting free speech only matters when you protect people’s rights to say outlandish and unpopular things. Everyone supports free speech when they agree with the speaker. England has been arresting people for sharing or saying mean things online. France just convicted these 10 people for sharing and saying gross and crazy stuff about the First Lady online.

We disagree with all of their statements, but we should all be standing up and fiercely protecting their right to say it. If you don’t, at some point you will say or post something that someone in authority disagrees with, and they will come for you just like they came for these 10 saps in France.

It’s time for the majority of us who have the ability to think critically and not be swayed by the crazies screaming from the fringes to stand up and say enough of this garbage and drag the world back to sanity. Once we lose the right to speak freely, say goodbye to all your other rights, as they will fall very soon afterwards.

The new housing Czar of NYC says private property, especially private homes, is white supremacy

Our take:  Congratulations, New Yorkers! This is what you voted for. The new housing czar of NYC, appointed by socialist mayor Zohran Mamdani, made some comments on video before she was appointed to the office.

Among the highlights are calling for the white middle class to be “impoverished,” saying home ownership was a weapon of white supremacy, urging people to “seize private property,” and endorsing “no more white men in office.”

As fun and normal as she seems, Ms. Weaver attended Bryn Mawr College and is single. She also is now in charge of the housing direction in the largest city in the US because New Yorkers elected her socialist boss. Let’s see how much they support his platform when he starts trying to use eminent domain to privatize their co-ops on the Upper East Side. Be careful what you wish for, because you just might get it.

Father of 3 shot and killed after argument over Target parking spot escalates

Our take: Seriously, people – get a grip. It’s a fucking parking spot. As much as I advocate for men and masculinity, you already know it’s two men involved in this whole situation. What a couple of morons.

Tip of the day: How to win friends and influence people

Give Sincere Praise

When you offer praise, make it specific and genuine. Instead of a vague “Good job,” highlight exactly what the person did well.

For example, “Your presentation was incredibly clear, and I especially liked how you outlined the key challenges upfront.”

QUOTE OF THE DAY

“The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration.” - The Sixteenth Amendment of the United States Constitution.
