Boston judge accused of helping illegal alien evade ICE agent, faces misconduct hearing

Our take: Unfortunately, this is not a revisit of the story in Wisconsin, where a state judge has been charged with intentionally interfering with ICE agents serving a deportation order by sneaking a defendant and his attorney, who had just finished a case in her courtroom. This is an entirely new case involving a judge from Boston who engaged in the same behavior.

The judge finds out ICE agents are waiting outside the courtroom to take a person into custody once the hearing is over. The judge orders the ICE agents to stay outside the courtroom, which they do. The judge then escorts the person out a different exit of the courtroom to intentionally stop the ICE agents from executing the deportation order.

If that is not textbook interference with a federal law enforcement officer, it is hard to think of what is. Hopefully the Superior Court hearing the case fully enforces the law or whatever code of conduct is supposed to be followed by judges. The law still applies to you if you are a judge.

The LA riots were called “relatively peaceful” as people threw rocks, Molotov cocktails, and burning cars

Our take: If you were wondering if the Democrat party, the mainstream media, or the liberal elite cared at all what average Americans think, you can look at the current happenings in Los Angeles for your answer.

ICE agents went through Los Angeles and started executing deportation orders on illegal immigrants. Democrats saw an opportunity to draw attention to themselves and rioted. No, they did not protest. Protests don’t involve assaulting police officers, lighting cars on fire, and throwing rocks, Molotov cocktails, and explosives at law enforcement officers. If you call these protests, you really must agree that January 6th was only a protest, as it was much less violent than what we are seeing in LA.

Politicians are supporting the illegal immigrants at the expense of actual citizens. The media is again running their playbook of lying to the public despite what we can see with our own eyes. And for some reason, even after they were soundly defeated in the 2024 election, Democrats somehow expect a different outcome.

They won’t get one. Most Americans support enforcing immigration law. They support law and order. They support putting American citizens first. If you are a Republican, you should both recoil in horror at what is happening in LA while at the same time secretly celebrating because the 2026 midterms are shaping up nicely for you.

Labor leader charged with conspiracy to impede an officer after arrest

Our take: The president of the Service Employees International Union, David Huerta, decided to interfere with federal agents serving deportation orders in Los Angeles. He stood in front of ICE vehicles in a driveway at an ICE facility. When we refused to move, ICE agents went to move him out of the way. He physically pushed the ICE agents, who pushed him to the ground, handcuffed him, and arrested him. Seems straightforward to us.

Not so to virtue-signaling Democrats. They have seized on what they think is a political opportunity to claim Mr. Huerta is an innocent man being targeted for political purposes. Unfortunately for them, Mr. Huerta was charged in federal court on Monday. So much for that “opportunity.”

Let’s be very clear about what powers and exceptions to the law are conferred to you when you hold a position of authority. Zero. None. Not one. The same laws that apply to the public vis-à-vis interfering with law enforcement operations apply to you. Even if you run a union. Even if you are a member of Congress. Even if you think you’re right. If you interfere with law enforcement officers, you should be held accountable.
