Arkansas double murder suspect pleads not guilty
Our take: The suspect accused of murdering a couple at a state park in Arkansas has pled not guilty on both counts. The state prosecutor has vowed to seek the death penalty.
Andrew McGann, 28, was charged with the murder of Clinton and Cristen Brink while they were hiking with their two young daughters at Devil’s Den State Park in July. No motive has been announced.
We hope McGann gets a fair trial and, if found guilty, is put in jail with a bunch of guys that really hate him for the rest of his life.

Cleveland councilman accused of “inappropriate workplace behavior,” including threatening to kill a witness
Our take: We live in Cleveland, so this story was both humorous and believable to us, so we thought we would share.
Councilman Joseph Jones has been accused of “inappropriate, unprofessional behavior in the workplace.” Among the allegations are that Jones “threatened to kill Witness 1 3 separate times.”
Yikes—I am not sure what Witness 1 did, but I know Jones didn’t like it. Maybe Witness 1 stole Jones' lunch out of the breakroom fridge. Or maybe they took his parking spot. Whatever it was, Jones is pretty serious about getting revenge. Welcome to Cleveland!

Drunk guy on plane meets his match when passenger comes to aid of flight attendant
Our take: It is not often we get to see instant karma. This story provides it and then some. A drunk man on a flight from Norfolk, VA, to Los Angeles, CA, lost it about 4 hours into the flight.
When the flight attendant attempted to place him in restraints to control the situation, he broke loose twice, hurled racial slurs at the flight attendant, and “menacingly waved around a skateboard.” At this point, the flight attendant asked other passengers to help her with the man.
Up stepped a mountain of a man who confronted the drunk passenger, picked up the drunk passenger with ease, and put him in his seat, telling him to “sit your ass down.”
From then on it was smooth sailing, er, flying, until the plane made an unplanned stop in Colorado, where the drunk man was apprehended by local law enforcement. 2 lessons here. One, don’t get drunk and act like an idiot on a plane, or you will be arrested. Two, don’t fuck with that guy in 23C.
