Oklahoma State Superintendent advocates for “a bible in every classroom.”
Our take: Yikes. Where do we start here? How about this? Let’s propose to Mr. Walters that we require every classroom to have copy of the Quran and see if his views change. We are not anti-religion in any way. While we are not religious ourselves, we have plenty of people close to us that practice religion (not just Christians but many different religions) and we vehemently support their right to practice these religions as they deem best for themselves and their families. We have prayed with people going through hard times, and attendend many services in various houses of worship to show our support and respect for people we care about. The important point here is they get to choose their religion without any fear of recrimination. No one gets to tell them which faith to practice or how to practice it.
There is a reason the First Amendment of the Constitution comes first. It protects the 5 most basic and important rights that people have simply by being born: Freedom to petition the government for redress, freedom of assembly, freedom of press, freedom of speech, and freedom of religion. You may not know it, but of these 5, freedom of religion is listed first. It’s literally the first right listed in the Constitution.
The groundbreaking thing about The Constitution is that it is based on the premise that people have rights bestowed by their creator, not the government. The government literally exists to ensure that these inalienable rights spelled out in The Constitution are not infringed on by anyone, especially the government that exists to protect them.
Perhaps Mr. Walters can put down his bible long enough to read the document that governs our land, the document he took an oath to protect, and follow it’s laws.

Musk and Ramaswamy to lead group responsible for eliminating government waste
Our take: YES! We are excited to see what 2 smart, accomplished entrepreneurs can trim from the bloated federal bureaucracy.
In our opinion, there are few if any organizations that function less efficiently than the federal government. According to AI, there are over 400 federal agencies in a country that has existed for roughly 250 years. Thats almost 2 agencies per year we have created to oversee ….. everything?
If we shrink the size of the government, we get two massive benefits. First, the cost of running the federal government goes down substantially, which could lower taxes for all Americans and/or allow us to pay down the massive national debt, which now stands north of $34 trillion. Second, cutting the bloat will lower regulation, making entrepreneurship and business growth easier, leading to an expanding economy, rising wages, and a better shot at the American Dream for everyone. We can’t wait for these guys and gals to get to work!

FEMA employee fired for skipping Florida Trump supporter’s houses says she was following orders
Our take: If you are looking for an example of weaponization of government, look no further. FEMA employees were directed to skip or avoid houses displaying support for Trump after they encountered “hostile or dangerous behavior” from homes displaying support for Trump. FEMA says the terminated supervisor acted on her own and this was an isolated incident. The supervisor defends her actions and states she was one of several supervisors in different states who gave similar directives in response to “verbal and physical threats” employees experienced in the field. Congress will hold a hearing on November 19th to investigate the issue. The supervisor states she welcomes the investigation and ensures everyone the investigation will show many instances similar to hers. Get your popcorn, this one looks like a barnburner coming!
