Louisiana court rules law requiring Ten Commandments to be posted in public schools declared unconstitutional by Federal Court
Our take: Earlier this week, we shared an article about the Oklahoma bureaucrat who is trying to require all public schools to have a bible in the classroom and teach the bible as part of their curriculum. We opined on how the freedom of religion is the first right mentioned in the Bill of Rights, and how this “requirement” was a clear violation of this right.
Louisiana said “Hold my beer”. The state passed a law requiring The Ten Commandments be permanently displayed at all public schools. A group of nondenominational parents sued the state on the grounds that this law infringed on their First Ammendment rights. The court ruled resoundingly in their favor, and issued an injunction preventing the implementation of the plan.
Once again, we are not anti-religion. We support people’s right to believe whatever they choose, and to practice those beliefs in any way they choose. That right exists right up to the point it infringes on someone else’s rights. This was a clear violation of that principle. We are happy to see that the courts are still doing their job and upholding the rights of the people. Kudos to them for getting this right.

Washington Post hypocrisy on full display with election denial article
Our take: The Washington Post writes a scathing article criticizing Republican Senate candidates Eric Hovde of Wisconsin and Kari Lake of Arizona for no conceding their races to their Democratic rivals while glossing over Democrat Bob Casey or Pennsylvania for doing the same thing. The article compares their approach to that of President Trump in 2020, but cooly covers Casey’s approach like its acceptable. Therein lies the problem. One cannot argue out of both sides of the mouth. It is either OK to contest close elections and exhaust all options before conceding or it is not. Hilary Clinton lost the 2016 Presidential election and has spent the last 8 years claiming Trump was an “illegitimate president” due to some mythical “Russian interference”. Stacy Abrams lost the 2018 gubernatorial race in Georgia and spent the next 4 years claiming she won the election and had been cheated out of the statehouse. None of these claims were presented as “false” or “without evidence” by the press when they covered them. This is the exact reason the American public has lost trust in the mainstream media. When you tell people that things they can see with their own eyes are not true, they figure out you’re lying to them pretty quickly. Until they figure this out, the mainstream media will continue their decline to irrelevancy.

Another college women’s volleyball team decides they don’t want to play against men
Our take: As we have previously discussed, we support people’s choices to live their life as they choose. Be who you want to be, and don’t let anyone else’s opinion stop you. Right up until you infringe on someone else’s rights, which is exactly what biological men are doing by trying to force themselves into women’s sports. Disenfranchising women who want to compete in a fair, level, and safe environment are finally exercising their rights and pushing back against this strange and illogical push from the elites in our country who want to force them to shut up and let the men play. We do not see any other outcome than a total victory for the women in this case. We will continue to cover this case and bring you updates as they happen.

TIP OF THE DAY
Just be who you are. Don’t try to be someone you are not to make others happy or make people like you. If you are your genuine self, you will wind up with people who appreciate you for exactly who you are.
